Security Certificate problem on android samsung intercept

It displays the credential prompt. After providing the credentials a
"Security Warning" is displayed. Here is the text:
There are problems with the security certificate for this site
x This certificate is not from a trusted authority.
Issued to:
Common name: GeoTrust Extended Validation SSA CA
Organization: GeoTrust Inc
Validity:
Issued on: 11/28/2006
Expires on: 11/28/2016

I eventually looked into this issue and found this on the Android bug
tracking system
"Issue 10807: Root Certificates missing from Android root store"
http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=10807
The issue is still open. In the meantime we will contact GeoTrust for
an updated and recognized certificate.
