Troubles opening clipperz site

Hi to all
I'm using this tool regularly, and I'm very satisfied about it: easy,
multilingual, secure, available offline... all properties everyone
wants for a software.

Now, form last week (June, 24 2008) I cannot connect the clipperz site
from my home pc (what's !?!) - I'm using Windows XP and Ubuntu but it
is impossible to connect with both

I know that this could be the wrong site where ask, but I need some
idea... (sob)

If you are interested to read, I go ahead with my setup:
Country: Italy
Provider: Tele2
DNS: OpenDNS
Browser: Firefox 3 (same error with Explorer 7)
Operating system: Windows XP SP3 or Ubuntu 8
Connection: ADSL, no problem with others sites
When connecting to Clipperz, the browser starts to wait a response
from the server, but after some time firefox says "Firefox cannot
connect to www.clipperz.com", etc
The strange thing is that I can connect wiithout problems with the
rest of WEB !
If I try to connect using another provider (a pc in another house,
using Alice Telecom as provider), I can connect to clipperz.
I'm suspecting Tele2 is responsible for this, but I don't know any
workaround...
If someone has some suggestion, he's welcome !

Hello Marco,

you may try to access the Clipperz application without using the SSL encryption:
- http://www.clipperz.com/beta

We are not encourage people using this unsecure connection, but some
users where unable to access the application via SSL due to their ISP
restriction.

Aside from some random problems to connect to the server a few weeks
ago, we had no other report of issues accessing the Clipperz server.

And your description too seems to confirm that this may be an ISP related issue.
