About Clipperz compact...

I just installed clipperz compact and found it really nice. However,
the direct login often does not work. Do you know why? And what, if
anything, I can do about it? Secondly, how do I reveal the password
and other details in the compact version?

Hi Ong,
the Compact version of Clipperz was just meant to be a simple list of
direct logins to be kept in the Firefox sidebar.

I'm not sure it still makes sense since, as you experienced, many
direct logins does not workand the convenience of the Compact version
declined ...

Many sites are adding so-called security features (checking for cookie
or sessions info) that make configuring a direct login harder, when
not completely impossible.

Direct login sometimes cannot work due to the architecture of the
login page of certain websites (e.g. Google's ...). But in quite a few
cases making small changes to the code generated by the bookmarklet
could lead to good results.

Going forward we plan to redesign the Compact version of Clipperz with
a specific purpose: quickly bring up a specific card in order to
copy-and-paste credentials into a login form.
