The topic will be announced later today or early tomorrow.
I'll be ordering pizza and accepting donations to recoup the cost. People are
encouraged to bring beer, as long as consumption is kept to a
reasonable level. :)
Please reply if you're coming so I know how much pizza to order. See you there!
DIRECTIONS TO LEANDOG:
See [1] for a Google Map showing the boat itself. Coming north on E
9th, you turn right onto N Marginal (just after passing route 2), then
turn left at the first street (you'll see a submarine on your left).
Right after turning, there will be a parking lot that claims to cost
$6. Parking is free for the boat; don't give anyone any money! Just
enter on the LEFT side of the toll booth. There's no gate or anything.
The left side of the parking entrance says it's for Hornblower's,
which translates to LeanDog. :)

I'll try to be there. I might even bring Steve and/or Roblet.
It is. Do your worst! :)

I find myself strangely able to attend... (2 meetings in a row? Madness!)

You must have *really* hated BitBacker. Or maybe you just love boats! ;)

We were not able to secure a talk for this month. So what does
everyone think about lightening style talks. Maybe 15 minutes each
instead of the normal 5.
Who would want to talk about something? Your open source projects?
Projects you would like to start.
I can talk a bit more about snake-guice and possible some other things.
Lightning talks sound good. I'll try to come up with something.
Probably more on the 5 minute side of things than 15 though.
Christian
I'm always up for a lightning talk. I once considered doing a clepy
talk that was actually eight or so lightning talks back to back. :)
Alas, my chance has passed!

I never actually attended a meeting at BitBacker. I don't think it
was anything personal... I just always seemed to have stuff coming up
on Monday nights that prevented me from attending. (You have to
admit, it's a lot easier to show up for meetings when they're down the
hall from one's desk.)
