Notes from December 11th meeting

Jersey stuff:
-Orange jerseys have been ordered from Five and will be shipped to
Savage (updated December 14th)
-Chad will have final design by December 21st
-We need to confirm numbers and names on jerseys by December 21st.
-Todd will let us pay half now and half when we receive jerseys, so we
have enough money in Clemson account to pay for first half- will
collect remainder from teammates first week of school.
-Order 100 discs, Same design as this fall but in orange. Perhaps give
people a free disc if they pay dues early. Viper is ordering them
now.
A-Team/B-Team Split
-B-Team may be moved back to Tuesday/Thursday practice (Space 3 is
available on Tuesday!)
-Tuesday practices would be completely separate from each other,
Thursday practices would be on somewhat parallel tracks.
-Rosters will be pretty much locked in by January 14th so that we can
hold elections
Election stuff:
-Elections for next year will be held the week before Joint Summit
-New officers for every position: President, Treasurer, Secretary, VP-
A, VP-B
-Changing the way we do Vice Presidency. Rather than having a regular
VP (Viper) and a Joint Summit VP (Marshall), we will have an A-Team
vice president and a B-Team vice president, each responsible for
learning how to submit club paperwork for their respective team (as
well as play a role in tournament selection/bids?).
B-Team Captains: Drew is likely stepping down as a tournament captain,
but is still willing to run practices. Miller’s position needs to be
replaced. Probably going to elect a captain + a rookie captain: rookie
captain is specifically for a freshman/1st year player so that he can
learn how to be a leader for the future. Discussion that it might be
good to elect a D-line player to a captain position (currently all
captains are more offensively inclined). These elections will also be
held the week before Joint Summit.
Joint Summit stuff:
15 teams are confirmed so far, Girls want a party, Tournament
merchandise by Todd (Savage), Sending out poll to teams to figure out
if we will sanction UPA tournament. Alumni team happening.
Tournament Schedule:
B Team: Joint Summit (Jan 23rd), Greenville (Jan 30th), Chucktown (Feb
27th), Sectionals(April)
A Team: Summit (Jan 23rd), ACCs (Jan 30th), Queen City (Feb 13th; no
hotels, no vans), Sectionals PLUS one of the following (likely
Terminus): Chucktown (February 27th), Tally Classic (March 6th),
Wilmington 8s (March 13th) Terminus/Southerns (March 20st)
