Description: Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Architect/ Data Modeler for a contract to hire position for an industry leading Financial Services organization in Cleveland, OH. Description: The Data Architect delivers business value by defining, driving, and governing clients overall technology direction and strategy. By leveraging industry standards, the data architect facilitates innovation and enables rapid business capability deployment. The data architect facilitates the vision, principles, standards, and processes that guide the purchase, design, and deployment of technology at client across the application architecture, data architecture, and infrastructure architecture areas. The Data Architect will work with the Data Domain team to help set the data strategy, tenets, best practices, and standards for clients technology team. They will assist in the design of both operational and analytical technology platforms and environments. They will assist in the review and approval of the data architecture for delivery projects. Responsibilities: Assist in building the enterprise conceptual and logical data models for analytics, operational and data mart structures. Assist in maintaining the assessment/inventory of the existing enterprise-level data environment. Be a liaison to Information Governance, Data Stewardship, Enterprise Information Services, lines of business and the development organization to align business strategy with enterprise data management strategy and solutions. Possess solid technical skills regarding tools and technologies pertinent to enterprise data management including; conceptual and logical data modeling, physical database design, data integration ETL and data profiling to provide the proper context regarding enterprise data assets to address business and technical requirements. Assist in the creation and leveraging of metadata management and taxonomy/canonical structures. Evaluate hardware/software data solutions for organizational fit and feasibility. Participate in the definition standard enterprise data management and enterprise data architecture processes and deliverables. Educate clients development teams on core data technologies and standards. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience Experience in architecting enterprise applications across the application, data, and infrastructure domains Experience in managing and driving enterprise architecture capabilities within a large corporation Banking or financial services experience is a plus Self Starter/quick learner If you are interested in this opportunity and meet the above requirements, apply today!
