Hey Folks,
It
look likes the weather is cooperating for a firing so I'm glad I did
all this work earlier even though it was well below freezing the last
few weeks. In real time I lit the Pignose yesterday and I'm letting the
charge of mixed hard and soft wood cook down to nothing in 6-8 hours
just to do some drying of the wadding and any moisture in the greenware
which was at or below 20% from house drying. Zach is going to help me
pick up some Elm sticks from a standing dead Peter cut down and I might
cut some more Hemlock limbs just to add a little extra to the fuel pile.
I'm not in any real hurry so I'll probably keep a small fire going and
get useta working hard again because I got a little soft staying in the
house all winter. Thanks for watching and stay in
there eh.
