Subject: traditional wheels for sale
I have two wheels for sale that I made fours years ago. Please ask for
a photo as I can't attach a photo to the group list.

The smaller wheel was sold to my teacher and it has been used maybe a
total of three days. Wheel head is 12 inches and the base is 16 inches
by 24 inches high

The other onggi wheel, the larger one has about the same amount of
time in use. Wheel head and base are 23 1/2 inches by 15 1/2 inches
tall

Both are made of solid poplar wood that is mostly individual pieces
the top and bottom of the large wheel are glued with dovetail tenon
and the bottom piece of the smaller wheel is glued with dovetail
tenon. Each wheel has two sealed bearings on the shaft supported by a
welded metal plate. Each wheel additionally has a 1/4 inch metal plate
attached to the bottom of the kicking wheel to assist with momentum.

I don't know the exact weight of each wheel. They are not
extraordinarily heavy less than 100 lbs. I will crate and ship to
anywhere. Shipping is not included in the price, you will have to pay
before I send them off. I can deliver in the San Francisco bay area.

I have another that I use regularly and am quite happy with the
performance and it's characteristics. My friend from Japan who makes
chawan has used these wheels and commented how he enjoyed using them
and that they were similar to his wheels at home.

These wheels are $550.00 each.

Please add a $25.00 crate fee if you want them shipped from my studio.
