Hello All, I am wondering if anyone out there would be willing to
offer up their cycling shoes and pedals for an upcoming weekend. I
have a friend who is interested in coming for a long ride. OK, so just
now I realize I have forgotten to ask for her shoe size. I am guessing
size 7 or 8 womens. Alternatively, if you were willing to lend a whole
(road) bike for a weekend (size 52 to 55), that would be even more
excellent. In return we could offer you a six pack and a tune-up on
the bike by licensed bike mechanic, yours truly.

Aww... Hope you're continuing to get better!

My bike is a 44.... could use a tune up though- been riding real slow  
down steep descents without braking much, and you can imagine how it  
is going up the mountain. Would you be willing to take a look at it,  
namely the wheel bearings (For some sort of monetary compensation of  
course). I've been *not* riding after riding her cross America, (did  
maintenance along the way, but haven't done a major overhaul since)
Would you recommend bringing her straight to a 'real' bikeshop?

I'm not exactly sure what size my bike is, but I think it's in that
range. I have shoes and pedals too, which weekend were you thinking
of?
