Installation Guide used: http://ck-erp.org/drupal/node/10

Installed .29 on Drupal 6.13, followed the installation steps 1 thru
17. Clicked 'Done'.

I never got to perform steps 18 & 19.

I get the message 'You are not authorised to access the requested
function.' whenever I visit pages ck-admin/index.php or ck-ledger/
index.php.

I am logged in as the drupal root user, never logged out nor closed
the browser from the drupal and ck-erp installation.

What must I do to access ck-erp?

Hi, BenGman,

Thank you for your interest in CK-ERP.

You might have missed Step 6 listed in the Installation Manual.

============================================================
5. Test to ensure you have a working target middleware environment.
6. Login the target middleware as a user named [admin]. *** DO NOT LOGIN AS ANY OTHER USER ***
6a. Add CK-ERP entry link onto middleware's screen display,
============================================================

Step 6 required that the name of the logged in user is exactly [admin], five characters all in lower case.  Because of the newly introduced CK-ACL modules, default security of CK-ERP had been tightened up quite a lot.  Any small deviation from the norm will result in the "You are not authorised to access the requested function" message.  Once you have completed the installation, you will be able to modify the security setup according to your local needs.

Best Regards,
CK

Hello CK,

I created a regular account with username 'admin' and now I can access
CK-ERP and I am reviewing the CK-ACL modules.

Thank you very much for your assistance.

Regards,
BenGman.
