I had tried to install joomla 2.53 other environment remain and result is
the same Platform, , not supported
Got to wait till solution come along.

Hi, AlvynK,

Thank you for your interest in CK-ERP.

The usual culprits for "Platform,, not supported" error are,

a) CK-ERP is being installed within a Windows environment (which is
not supported).
b) CK-ERP scripts are being placed in the wrong folder within the
middleware's directory tree (which does not seem to apply in your case).

I installed ck-erp-0.31.1 on local machine with joomla 2.58 and xampp 1.81
the path is localhost/j258/modules/ck-admi n/index.php
but it still result in the "Platform,, not supported" error.
any assistant will be greatly appreciated

Thank you for your interest in CK-ERP.

This is because the other (Joomla) users are not recognised by CK-ERP
and are treated as unlogin (anonymous) user by CK-ERP and thus are given
minimal access right to the EDU module.

Hi C K Wu,

Thanks for the great product. I am trying to figure out how to create
additional user in CK-ERP/Joomla and give access to CK-ERP

After install, only the admin Joomla user has access to General
Ledger, etc. All the other users are being redirected to EDU module
with no access to anything alse.

Try to modify /home/eliasdu5/public_html/hrm /hrm/ck-api/hoteld/
connector.inc.php, around line 21:

$ck_header = ob_get_contents();
ob_end_clean();

add this line:

ob_start();

in order to turn on output buffering; it worked for me with the same error
message (osCommerce 2.2/2.3)

Just to elaborate a bit on the CK-ERP side alone.

When installing CK-ERP (together with sample data) within InnoDB, it
takes approx. 6 minutes. When reverting back to MyISAM, the
installation takes a few seconds. Because I am doing a lot of
development work requiring constantly re-installing CK-ERP to start

It turns out that mysql 5.5.22 defaults to using InnoDB, whereas the
previous mysql versions use MyISAM. After setting the
default-storage-engine=myisam in my.cnf , I restart mysql and re-install
eGW + CK-ERP using eGroupware-1.8.004.20120515. The installation

Looks like you are putting the CK-ERP modules two levels below the
shared hosting's public folder,
......./public_html/hrm/hrm/ck -api/........
Please refer to the Installation Manual for the target (HotelDruid)
folder into which the CK-ERP modules are to be placed. If this is not
