Dear Friends of Peace,
Come hear from a gentle and forgiving Christian Palestinian about the difficulties facing ordinary people in his country every day: Bishara Awad, President of Bethlehem Bible College, will speak at Village Presbyterian Church, 6641 Mission Road, Prairie Village, Kansas, on Tuesday evening, June 28, at 7:00. He will speak of life in Palestine and the ministry of Bethlehem Bible College. The talk is free and open to the public. It is in room 132-133. Please come!
We had a great time last week at the fund raiser dinner to help send Native American Melissa Franklin to Gaza to work with the children there on an art-therapy project involving water-purification installations provided by charitable donations. We raised over $700 towards the Maia Project.
I hope to see you Tuesday evening, June 28th, at Village Presbyterian Church.
