I'm 20 years into Highway Dept. engineering job here in Oregon. With
10 years to go 'til wanna move on to a real independant State; I'd be
50 years old. Move out there and drive trucks for a living. Wife's

umm ya our skate park is fun but its really cheap.. no offence like so
many lips that make u fall and tons of metal parts and glass..... i
heard a rumor about a new skatepark .. that would be great if its true
but honestly if u guys do build a new skate park i bet you there will
be no problems with skaters around town and collage... more »

My family and I recently moved to Powell. I absolutely love this town!
I have wanted to relocate here for some time, we were just waiting for
a piece of property we could afford. I work in Cody as a teacher but
hope eventually I will be able to land a teaching job in Powell.

I visited Yellowstone and the Big Horn Basin in 2002, and since then
have been infatuated with the area and its residents. My wife and I
and our 13 year old son will be visiting Wyoming this summer for a
much needed vacation and to investigate the possibility of relocating
to Powell.

I just finished speaking with someone who creates metal sculptures. He
actually takes some old farm equipment and makes them look like six
foot tall flowers.
Would the citizens of Powell welcome sculptures and if so, what
locations?
The entrances to the city, Centennial Park, Homesteader?

Like Paul, I am also in the UK, albeit in Gloucestershire. I have to
tell you Powell is great in real life too. My girlfriend and I toured
the US in 12 weeks in late 2006 and we stayed a night in Powell on our
way to Yellowstone. The town was one of my favourite places of the
