Good afternoon CIS/2 community,

On December 18th, AceCAD and AISC will be hosting a CIS/2 workshop in
Chicago, IL., and we’d like to have you in attendance. In the files
area you’ll find an agenda that outlines both the work we hope to
accomplish and the establishment of group that will steward this work.
The need for this workshop was established at an October 29th meeting
at which a number of industry participants agreed that a leadership
body was needed for CIS/2. The minutes from this meeting are also in
the files area, as is the preliminary agenda for December 18th.

You can RSVP for the meeting here: http://doodle.com/udpuxdgnxy5d4cyc

To ensure the most productivity at this workshop, there will be two
Web meetings in the coming weeks which will cover some background
information on what we are doing, and why it’s important.
Specifically, there will be one Web meeting on schema conformance and
test suites and another meeting on process mapping and exchange
requirements. These meetings will last approximately one hour each,
and will include some discussion time. We’re using Doodle.com to
establish what the optimal dates are for each meeting. Please use the
links below to select the time(s) for which you are available.

Test Suite/ Schema Conformance: http://doodle.com/ps9kgxfvfw44wi2a

I can’t create a link for these preliminary web meetings until I have
a date, so the sooner you click them the better.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions and thank you in
advance for your participation,

Luke
