Hi there,

Consider the attached circos image where the ideogram contains:

  • One mouse chromosome with Log R ratio of a few samples in heatmap view
  • all human chromosomes with a histrogram of the CNV-segments in a patient population (n=50)
  • links between genes orthologuous between mouse and human

I would like to make a rule on the links based on the value of the histogram track. To be more specific, I would like to display the links only if they are linking to a coordinate where the histogram value is more than 10. I am aware that you can make key-value pairs in the link-data file that you can use in the rules as was suggested in this thread but for me it would work best if there is another solution. Otherwise I have to change the link-data file each time I want to change the threshold for displaying the links or not.

I am running circos-0.62-1 under 64-bit Ubuntu Oneiric 11.10. My main configuration file and the resulting circos image are attached.

Any kind of help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated :-)
