I have a few questions:

I'm trying to make reservations via telephone. I keep getting left on
hold for like 30 minutes. Any better options for reservations?

Do we have to wait in Customs lines coming in or going out of USVI?

How crowded is it during St. John's Carnivale and how is the weather
that time of year?

Lastly are there mopeds to rent on the island and how much are they?

any help would...help ")
thanks

too bad that the phone reservations are running so slow for you. this
is the peak season and with the spring breakers i bet it is really
busy right now.

you might try making your reservations via email. the reservations
email address is:

cinna...@rosewoodhotel.com

i would be interested in hearing how that works for you if you try
that.

regarding customs you will be visiting them as you depart the airport
in st thomas. they will ask you the basics, , declaration of the
amount of your purchases and such.

not sure about the moped rentals. personally i don't think i would
want to be on a moped out side of cruz bay. pretty sure you could not
get to cinnamon bay on one. the hills are pretty treacherous. maybe
someone else can weigh in with additional information. on that?

travel well!

I rented a scooter when i was their last week. it had a 300 dollar
deposit and it was 65 per day/ 280 a week. it is actually very easy to
get to cinnamon bay and any other place on the island. the roads are
steep, but unless your reckless you should be ok. once you get off the
ferry, look up to the hill and you will see a scooter rental place
their. i rode around the whole island and had no troubles.
