This a great course. To get going quickly, I found Scala for the
Impatient the best and the Odersky books is better as a reference
manual.
Download the scala-ide <
http://scala-ide.org/> if you do not already
have it as you will need it. The Scala Worksheet function in the IDE
is very helpful.
