CALL FOR ENTRIES
The Grierson Awards - for factual programmes and documentaries - recognise outstanding films that demonstrate integrity, originality and technical excellence, and social or cultural significance. The closing date for entries is 31 May 2013.
All categories are open to documentaries made anywhere in the world so long as they have had a first UK screening during the qualifying period, 1 May 2012 - 30 April 2013.

CTVC BEST NEWCOMER DOCUMENTARY (carries a cash prize of £3,000)
Sky Atlantic BEST STUDENT DOCUMENTARY (carries a cash prize of £3,000)

DOCUMENTARY PRESENTER OF THE YEAR * NEW CATEGORY *
A shortlist of eight entries for each category will be announced on 30 July and the final four nominations in each category on 17 September. The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in London in early November.
