I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Python Developer position in the Cincinnati, OH area. If you know anybody that might be interested – please forward my contact information.
Responsibilities:
Participate with small teams and bring projects from inception to completion
Build, test, release, and maintain tools used by clients, publishers and internal employees
Write unit tests for your code and value code quality
Understand our entire suite of products so you can better anticipate limitations
Review and influence ongoing design, standards and methods of our engineering process
Write applications to utilize 3rd party APIs
Implement A-B tests
Develop prototypes quickly
Collaborate with team members to work on cross-platform projects
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience
Substantial experience developing web applications: coding skills in Python, Javascript, node.js, CoffeeScript; with Python and JS preferred.
4+ years of Django experience a must
Experience with data structures, algorithms and complexity analysis
Extensive programming experience in one or more major programming languages
Good verbal and written communications skills, all-around team player
Substantial experience with MySQL or other relational database engines, NoSql database experience a plus
Experience with large-scale, distributed systems design and development with a strong understanding of scaling, performance and scheduling
