Subject: Summer "Drop-In" Broomball with the CBA!!!
If you are AT ALL interested in summer broomball, PLEASE fill out this
survey ASAP (it should only take a minute):
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=70waQWY3DR_2bqNWTp8nwYDA_3d_3d

We're doing this because before we can set up summer broomball, we
need to know if there is enough interest for summer broomball!

The CBA usually loses money on summer broomball, so we have to make
sure we have the interest to keep it going!  In other words, if enough
people don't respond by filling out this survey, we won't be able to
commit CBA money to get this rolling.  We also want to pick the best
possible day and time to ensure that as many people get to play as
possible.

If you have no idea what summer broomball is (it is run much
differently than "normal" CBA leagues), here are a few quick notes.
1) ALL skill levels are welcome (and encouraged!).  This is a great
time to introduce new players who you think might be interested in
playing.
2) There are no set teams, we ask that everyone bring a dark and a
light jersey, and we'll split up into evenly matched teams and play
against each other (no official refs, we ref ourselves).
3) We will (almost certainly) be playing at Northland Ice Rink (at the
corner of Reading and Glendale-Milford).
4) We usually play for an hour (if it looks like we will have amazing
turnouts, we might rent one and a half or two hour blocks instead).
5) You can pay each week when you show up, OR you can buy a summer
pass before the season starts which will SAVE you MONEY if you plan on
making a lot of games.

If you have ANY questions or concerns about summer broomball, please
feel free to email me (I'll be running it).  It is usually really fun,
and there is normally a LOT of playing time to be had.  You'll also
get to meet and play with people from other teams, and there is often
an after-event at a local restaurant or bar for those who are
interested.  Also, you'll be less rusty when fall season starts up!

Thanks, and I'm looking forward to a fun summer season!
-Mike
