to The Cincinnati Hackerspace Project
every year, penny arcade (http://www.penny-arcade.com) does a charity
drive to buy video games and other electronic entertainment for kids
in hospitals. the program is called child's play(http://
www.childsplaycharity.org) and the official drive started last week.

i do whatever tycho and gabe tell me to do, and right now our webcomic
overlords are commanding me to make my annual sacrificial offering.

you can donate to a general fund, or directly to a specific hospital.
cincinnati children's hospital (http://www.cincinnatichildrens.org)
has been part of the program for a couple of years (https://
www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/3O070KITTJS5P).

how about organizing something to raise money to donate in the name of
the hive? we could keep it simple and do a pledgie drive, those have
worked out well in the past, or we could do something more elaborate,
perhaps in conjunction with the holiday party?
