Hello All
Is anybody taking their entries on the Tuesday before the show? I am struggling to send the demijohns by post/courier and cannot get down there before the show. Can I drop mine to anybody to take for me? There is a decent drink in it.
Cheers
Guy

Guy,

I would offer but as I am in Southampton it will be just as easy to get it to Shepton Mallet!

If you can overcome that then of course I can take it!

Jez

Thanks for the offer Jez.
I think I might have to forget the demijohn entries.
See you at the show.
Best wishes
Guy

Not much closer than Jez, but I know you are sometimes in this neck of the woods.  Be glad to help if I can.

Thanks Bob, Jez et al
I have decided not to send the demijohns so that the prizes can be more widely spread but I am bringing a trailer for the other plaudits from the other classes! I should be on the campsite on Thursday night so that I have all day on Friday and leave Saturday morning. I really hope that I will get to see you both there and put faces to names for some of the other subscribers who have all helped to make the whole business feel more of a community activity. This forum is such a fantastic source of knowledge and experience and has made me feel far less isolated in Lincolnshire than before. In my turn I hope that I have been of some help to somebody somewhere as well.
Thanks again
Guy

Thanks for giving the rest of us a chance Guy!
Having not entered any competition before, nor been to the B&W for years, can anyone suggest which would be the best day for a cider maker to attend, if as I expect, this very late silage making prevents me from any more.
I also would like to meet as many familiar names as possible.

Bob,

I will be there on Friday to help out on the bar if needed and to do a couple of tasting sessions in the afternoon. I am sure a few others will be there too. But Tim is correct, Thursday is presentation day so would probably be the best day to attend.

All the best

Jez
