FW: STOP THE SALE OF THE POLISH CLUB

Celia Lee has asked me to forward the attached message. Though slightly off topic, I am aware that some members will have attended Churchill Centre events at the Polish Club.

 

 

There is a plan to sell off the Polish Club, 55 Exhibition Road, South Kensington, London.

This club was opened in 1941 by the father of the present HRH The Duke of Kent, Prince George.

It is part of the Polish people's cultural heritage and history and should remain a Polish Club.

It is the Polish people's link with the United Kingdom following the Second World War.

 

Wonderful presentations, book launches, lunches, and talks have been enjoyed there over the years.
