Relevance of Repository_Path field

Another different question today :)
 
Exactly what is the relevance of the "Repository_Path" field in the Version table? Is it simply just a reference field that highlights where the scripts are being run from, or where the source scripts came from? Meaning I could have anything or nothing in that field and not harm the operation of RoundHouse? Or I could have the path to my BuildInfo.XML file?

It's a text field that can have any relevance you would like it to. It's not required either. :)
