I have had issues with the "b" key since I received my chromebook. At first I though it was due to not being used to the keyboard. But it is still not registering the key about half the time even when I press hard.
What should I do?
Thanks,

Hi, Beth - I had issues with my apostrophe key, but once i changed the keyboard from international to American (i think those were the options), the apostrophe worked just fine.  could be that -

Just curious why people now-a-days say they have, 'issues' with
something instead of problems.

"Issues"sounds softer. Quicker to fix. Problems may hang around awhile!

Welcome to the age of political correctness my friend. Nothing is ever a problem anymore, an issue is a nice way of saying problem. Personally, it is what it is: a problem.

I'm in agreement with James - if we're supposed to go 'plain language', call it what it is.  The difference, to me, is that the problem isn't mine, it's theirs.  I may have an 'issue' with it (my emotional response), but the situation is because of a problem or fault in the design, system, implementation, etc. - i.e., in their product.

I'm an advocate so I use the language that seem to work best for the given situation. It's not software in this case. All the other keys work fine and are very responsive. I use the 'b' key all the time and this issue is really causing me problems. I would like to fix it. I don't like the idea of sending something back for one key but it's interfering with my work and my ability to use the computer. I'm used to working around software issues but I don't think that hardware issues should get in the way. The 'b' key works correctly on everyone else's machine, right?

I hate political correctness. People are afraid to speak the truth.

I don't think that discussions about being PC exactly fit with this subject line. Somewhat off-topic isn't it? Since the subject line ask about warranty does anyone know if there is a warranty on these and what it is if there is one?
Thanks

I have not heard one way or the other about warranty for our Chromebooks.  Maybe someone can get back to us on that one.
