I have been wondering what would have happened if Judas did not betray Jesus if jesus had to die for our sins. Many scriptural verses tell us that Jesus was sent to be received and not to be killed.

Come someone please assist.

What verses indicate that Jesus was not to be killed?

There are MANY verses that teach He came to die! Here are a few...

Isaiah 53:3  He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and
acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he
was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4  ¶Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we
did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5  But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our
iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his
stripes we are healed.
6  All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his
own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7  He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his
mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before
her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
8  He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare
his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for
the transgression of my people was he stricken.
9  And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his
death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his
mouth.
10  ¶Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief:
when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his
seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall
prosper in his hand.
11  He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied:
by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall
bear their iniquities.

He came for the express purpose of:

1. Revealing to us what God was like: God is like Jesus. If you have any idea about God that is not part of what Jesus has shown, it is not a good idea of God.

2. Showing us US. By his total identification with our sin (2 Cor 5:21) and our total identification with His righteousness (same verse) we have became like Him.

3. Dying as a redemptive sacrifice for the sins of the whole world: past, present and of all future generations with no exception. A full provision for the sin problem has been made and the price has been paid. Therefore nobody needs to die anymore for their sins. Yet people are still dying for their lack of knowledge.

3.1 In John 12:23-34 we read:

23And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

24Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

25He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

27Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

28Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

29The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

30Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

31Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

32And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

33This he said, signifying what death he should die.

34The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abideth for ever: and how sayest thou, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

[YOU] can do every[good]thing through him[Christ] who gives [YOU] strength
---Philippians 4:13

Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else,
--- Galatians 6:4

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever
--- Hebrews 13:8
[But How?]

The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages and generations, but is now disclosed to the saints. To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
--- Colossians 1:26-27
[That's How He can be the same today. There is not other way. He doesn't have the body they call Jesus of Nazareth anymore, in the future He will manifest himself in his glorified body. Today and Tomorrow He can be Jesus in the body they call YOU]

In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach
--- Acts 1:1
[How is He going to continue what He began to do and to teach? Only through YOU]

And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give
--- Mathew 10:7-8
[Was this for the only super holy 12 (minus one who blowed it), or is this for the disciples? Is it Jesus speaking? Is this for YOU? Can you have Faith for that? Have YOU freely received this?]

Again Jesus said, "Peace be with YOU! As the Father has sent me, I am sending YOU."
--- John 20:21
[WOW!!!]

As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.
--- John 17:18
[WOW !!! YEAH !!!  YOU, Like Jesus !!! Halleluya !!!! GO DO IT. YOU CAN]
