I'd like to announce the official launch of ChocolateChip-UI 2.0: http://www.chocolatechip-ui.com. This is a total rewrite of how ChocolateChip-UI works.Originally I created ChocolateChip-UI using my own JavaScript library: ChocolateChip.js: https://github.com/rbiggs/chocolatechip. Due to requests from jQuery users, I eventually create another version that worked with jQuery, and then another version that worked with Zepto. This resulted in three times the work for me. Not good. I hold a very busy day job, so this made it difficult for me to find time to fix bugs, add features and generally troubleshoot the issues the different versions  had. So, I decided to create one ChocolateChip-UI to rule them all.

The latest version of ChocolateChip-UI has an abstraction layer that makes it capable of running on top of ChocolateChip.js, jQuery or Zepto, it doesn't care. This means that everyone now gets the same features, bug fixes, etc. Oh, and I fixed a ton of bugs affecting widgets. You find examples of how to use the new version of ChocolateChip-UI with your preferred library. I've also included examples of how to use Handlebars for tempting and a sample app that shows how to use ChocolateChip-UI with Knockoutjs to create a commercial app to sell perfume. This is just a simple prototype but should point you in the right direction on how to put serious apps together. This version has some initial work in support  screen readers for accessibility. I'll be adding in better support as time permits.

For those of you who want to use this on Adroid, do not despair. Having completed the transition to a single code base, I've already started work on an Android theme for ChocolateChip-UI inspired by Android 4.0. So stay tuned. I'll make an announcement when it is ready. And, once the Android theme is completed, I intend to produce a right to left version for all the people out there that use those alphabets (Arabic and Hebrew), where navigation, transitions, etc. work appropriately.

Hi Robert, that's exactly what I need. And the Android theme is very welcome too, thanks!

Just switch to ChocolateChip-UI 2.1. That has a complete Andoid theme for Icecream Sandwith and Jelly Bean.
