Neighbors,

This is a VERY IMPORTANT MEETING for the future of Florida Avenue NE.  This road currently has sidewalks that can't accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, and more - adjacent to up to six lanes of speeding traffic.

The meeting on Wednesday is to kick off the planning study, which is scheduled to finish up in early 2014.  Then, we can start lobbying for DDOT to start the construction work!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,
Tony Goodman
ANC Commissioner, 6C06
