Mac Trackpad crashes with Chrome

I'm running Lion 10.7.3. I have 2 issues in using Chinese Trackpad
Handwriting when I have the CHROME browser turned on.
1) Hitting control shift + space does not always bring on / down the
pad. Alternatively, to bring it on, I have to select it from the menu
bar in the top. Funny enough, to bring it down, since the mouse-
movement is not active during handwriting mode, I need to hit the 暫停
area in the pad to de-activate the writing mode and then mouse-click
the "x" in the pad to close it.
2) When inputing chinese in Word, the mouse pointer disappears.
Anyone experience the same issues? Is there any solution?
