Wheelmen and Wheelwomen -
Jeff and I are headed out on a seven day tour on behalf of The Wheelmen,
which we've decided to call *El Gran Tour de bicicletas de la costa
Cervecerías 2008* or perhaps *El Gran Vuelta de bicicletas de la costa
Cervecerías 2008*, depending on how broken you like your Spanish to be.

This morning's Keefer loop time trial was awesome. I broke through my old
records with ease, with zero coaching! It went like this:
Red, burning watery eyes: 5:43
Scratchy lungs, smoke-induced coughing: 12:38
Anyone else been posting amazingly fast times lately?

quality, and decided to scout the route for our upcoming trip. Good news:

I scouted this route today, and I was in my tiniest gears for most of
the ride. I spent a good bit of time in my 24 tooth ring; I'm not a
super strong rider, so you should be ok with a 27 as long as you have
a pie plate on the back.
