Susan:
I'm inclined to drive up day of race as well.  The hotels in/around Folsom are noisy and expensive.  We're GOING, but haven't planned that far in advance.  If you want to go day of, we have plenty of room in the Landie for you (and James if he's planning on running or cheerleading)!
