Ruby on Rails on an Eee PC?

Has anyone attempted this? I have an Eee PC 701 with 20 GB SSHD and
Ubuntu 8.04 and I am thinking about trying to get RoR running on it,
but was curious if anyone else has done this? Any pitfalls?

I have not tried that, but I imagine it would still work. I have been
able to do Ruby on Rails development on an Ubuntu virtual machine with
no problems.

Was setting up your RoR dev environment difficult? I am considering
doing the same thing (creating a VM with a Linux distro to do RoR dev
on)
