I think it worked really well to have a game to look at. But maybe we can find one we know in advance we'll like next time? I'm willing to play any genre. But if anyone has started on a game they liked & had no time to finish--that'd be great. It doesn't have to be terribly recent.
Also, the author of Valley of Steel has a bugtracking website up for his game. I've reported a few issues including ones we saw. I've emailed with him a bit & he's been really receptive to suggestions. So if anyone is interested in giving a look and helping, have a look. I think he recognizes there are known unknowns, unknown unknowns, and so forth. And I'm impressed with what he's fixed recently.
The issues reported have also been good hints for figuring the rest of the game
& should continue to be.
