I've noticed that the html version of the chat manual [0] is linked to
from the talkbank schema [1]. Is chat.html kept updated with the pdf
versions of the manual? I can't find any links to it on the childes
site, are there any?

[1] http://talkbank.org/software/talkbank.xsd

Thanks,

paul

Just to clarify, I'm asking if the html and pdf manuals are both
updated at the same time- if they both represent the most recent
version of the manual. The link I'm asking about in my question is a
link to the html version of the manual.

Thanks,

paul

Paul,

I usually try to update them at the same time, but sometimes I may be in a rush
and only update the PDF.  I last updated the HTML version about 6 weeks ago.
The HTML version is provided so that people can understand the meaning of XML
tags.  Whenever we add or change a tag, we update the HTML version.  The PDF
version is intended for basic reference for most users. Is there some specific thing you need to track?

I don't know how I overlooked the huge dates on the title page.

I'm not tracking anything in particular, just wanted to make sure it
wasn't obsolete. I find the html version of the manual convenient,
perhaps others would as well. A link to it for general-purpose use
could be useful.

Thanks and Happy New Year,

paul
