Dear all,

Is it possible to run CLAN commands for few folders simultaneously?
For example, If I have the directory childes and in it I have Eve, Adam, Sara - how can I run a command so it will work on all the files in all 3 folders?

Thank you,
Eva

Dear Eva,
The best method is to set your working directory to the level above the three corpora.  In this case, I am guessing that this would be the "Brown" level.  Then you add the -re switch to your various CLAN commands and they will run recursively down to all the subdirectories.

Eva,

You need to set CLAN's working directory to "childes" folder and add "+re" option to all CLAN commands to analyze files in all sub-directories of "childes" folder.

Leonid.
