You won't be surfing at Asa - it's miles inland and nowhere near the sea.
Shows what you know, fagit
You have good advices for surfs then?

That's an awful short trip for the flight. You can surf Sweden?

You'll be waiting a while, Tusjar surfs a Kohler Ingenium.
Nobody asked you, sjitcheese.
I only passed thru there once, it was pronounced Yotenborg... or similar to
that spelling... my relatives live farther inland, some in the state of
smoland, the rest in or near stockholm (we've been there once and they came
here once to buy a camaro and ship it back).
My #2 daughter got back from 10 days in a Finland in late July, she said it
was the rainy season and it rained on them each day at girl scout camp. About
4 hours of twilight and that was it for nighttime.
If you get the chance (and it still runs), ride the hydrofoil at Malmo.

Well, I think the Baltic is supposed to be cleaner than it once was...
But isn't that kinda like surfing on Lake Erie?
Water looks to be about 70 degrees... nice swimming weather... but you
might wanna read http://www.greennature.com/article495.html first...
"my shoes are in a swamp in Finland"?
Thats the #5 daughter
No shoes were lost, but we were a bit concerned when she got off the plane
at terminal 5 wearing fleece pajama pants; she said everything else had
gotten soaked and smelled because the tents leaked and it rained each day.
She said they had a "drying" tent where they'd hang their sleeping bags
each day to dry that had a heater in it, but the rest of the stuff was
pretty much toast....
All in all, she had a lot of fun!
Finland, Finland, Finland.
It's the country for me.
What? Is their beach-vollyball team on tv or something?
The Baltic Sea is definitely not clean, but fortunately Göteborg is on
the other side of Sweden. Still, not a place where I would head if I
was into surfing. (Can't think of any other reason to go there
either.)
Hiski
"Rainy season" is a misleading term for Finland. It implies a
completely different climate, in which there are dry seasons and rainy
seasons. Typical Finnish summer weather is half an hour of sunshine,
half an hour of rain, then clouds (repeat all through the day). This
July was extremely wet, with floods in very surprising places like
Riihimäki. Often it is the sunniest and warmest month of the year,
which is why most Finns spend their summer vacations in July.

Well... there is this thing called currents... now, they say by the time
the Chicago River has reached Peoria that what we dump in it is diluted
enough... but I wouldn't surf there either...

Ah, so summer, based on your definition is a rainy season?
One thing I found interesting... 2.x million land phone lines, 4.x million
cell phones.. (the home of Nokia).
More reason to go to Gothenburg then to any other place in Sweden!

But if you are looking for surfing we don't have so much to offer.
Windsurfing of course but real surfing no.

Hey John...did you know that they even have on-line AA meetings up there in
Finland....
And did you know that Finland's Baltic neighbour Estonia has a higher
percentage of internet users than any country in Western Europe (except
Finland)...???

There ya go...thank you Marrku!
Estonia considers easy internet access for it's citizens a fundamental human
right...and their Parliament went entirely online a few years ago, too....

I was trying to say that there is no great difference in rainfall
between seasons - except, of course, that in winter the rain comes in
snowy form. Early summer is usually less rainy than late July or
August.

Use Siemens or Sony - their phones are better and don't break up so
easily.
