I thought texting while driving was bad. I pull alongside this older
woman sitting at a green light and take a look over and she's knitting!
She takes off with a squeal and gets one block up to another red
light. I'm pulling out my camera hoping to catch her there. I'll be
damned she starts knitting at the red light again. Wish I had gotten a
better picture. Fucking grandma.

I miss the good old days when people used to just drink and drive!

People do a lot of things while driving (especially read books and newspapers -
although I guess the new trib size might make it easier to read on a steering
wheel).

WOW... but I don't know why I'm surprised...

'Busy' Rob Ford admits to reading while driving
'Please get a driver,' police officer urges mayor

Ford: "Well, I'm busy. I got to be — I don't know what that has to do
with a trade mission, but anyways. Ridiculous questions sometimes,
seriously."

There seems to be something about motor vehicles that renders people
extra stupid, and completely void of any capacity for embarrassment.

Motorists' impressions of their driving skill is positively reinforced
every time "willful misconduct" (as the FHWA calls it) does not result
in a crash or ticket, and 99% of those times they rationalize those
weren't their fault.

It's a fine picture, a polarizing filter would probably have helped
with the reflections.

If Murphy had not been busy you would have crashed pulling out your
camera...
