I bet they tapped her account for some kind of activation charge, and
now they're violating her.

Did you activate it on line?

Also, check your account to make sure the transponder you surrendered
has been removed from your account.

Look at it this way -- if everybody sends them an unnecessary $45,
they can go to Vegas.

Somehow the GE talent scouts deemed Poppy Lanza suitable for promotion
to DIRECTOR, I guess it wasn't for his parenting skills.

Once upon a time we used to joke that was about the only thing someone could

About 6 months later he sent us a card from somewhere in the middle east but
it wasn't written in a language that any of us could read so we tossed it.

He looked like a typical european decendent until he started talking outside
of the office. One day he asked if I wanted to go for lunch and while we were
eating it was just "<insert derogatory name for a Jewish person here> this..."
and "<insert derogatory name for other minorities here> that..." and I never
heard such hatred from someone in my life (except for perhaps a smr posting),
after talking with a few coworkers I discovered that wasn't the first time
and we all pretty much avoided him after that.

He started getting into arguments with a jewish guy who worked with us and
eventually management stepped in and terminated him.

When I was running a job that was building one of those new plazas, I
used to go through the thing 100 times a day. I had it on automatic
renewal and the company paid for my tolls. I figure no problem. One
day I get the red light and I'm like WTF. The plaza boss explained how
they only bill once a day at the most and I was going to have to up how
much I kept in there. Seems kinda crazy that a huge system like that
couldn't update automatically when needed. I suppose they make interest
somehow on what's sitting in the accounts.

Then there was Lou. He absolutely fucking hated the tollway. Used to
make for interesting family events where I would be running a tollway
job and he'd get drunk and go on his rants about the "Fucking Tollway."
Turns out he had been going through and not paying tolls and they
yanked his DL . He eventually got it back, but he sure had it in for them.

I hated it too, when I had to take the Tri-State to get to work.
Unlike what I was used to, the Stevenson or the Ryan, their get ons
and get offs were limited so they could gouge people more reliably.
Running late in the wintertime, I got tired of having to go an extra
mile north (followed, of course, by an extra mile south on surface
streets) just so I could pay a toll.
