WGN-Ch. 9 anchor Allison Payne still sidelined

By Phil Rosenthal | Tribune media columnist
5:57 PM CST, February 4, 2008

WGN-Ch. 9 anchor Allison Payne, sidelined for several weeks after her
numbed right hand and arm led to an unrelated diagnosis that she had
earlier suffered a series of ministrokes, will not return to the
station's 9 p.m. news tonight, as originally anticipated.

Did you catch Tommy on the news after the NIU shooting?

One of the guys that got shot had been an intern to him. When they mentioned
this to tommy and gave good wishes, Tommy broke down and started crying and
blubbering.

"That little fella didn't deserve to get shot", blubber, blubber.

Ahhhhhhhhh, Tommy's little cabana boy is outta circulation for awhile.

Maybe kenji can send him a copy of his "glory hole tour '08" map.

Yea, but looks don't have much to do with it... a lot has to do with the
genes you inherit... My doc sorta made it sound like a party when I got my
first/only colesteral test at 45. He said "your chances of having an event
are slim"... and I said "event"? and then he explained he considered heart
attacks and strokes events...
