Why doesn't 他們 have the same pronunciation as the others?
If the number means ranking, please make sure 他們 is the first
choice.

2. I think there is no infection in Chinese, we add extra words when
they are needed to modify context.
The original meaning of 她 is the mother or the sister.
When people tried to translate "she" to Chinese, they created the new
meaning of 她.
們 is the plural for people. So people create a new word 她們, which
resembles to "Elles" in French.
Ironically, I do not think there is such a word in English.
I personally almost never use 她 or 她們 . I think that's not
necessary. since 他 is the singular 3rd person and Chinese does not
emphasize gender in default. But that is only my personal opinion. I
only use 她 when the other expect me to use it.
