Arrived Back in Syracuse Safely

With the forebearance of those on the list who have not been in Montreal at the conference, let me report to those who were that I got back to Syracuse safely and without problem by dinner time on Saturday night. About 4 1/2 hours driving. Roughly the same distance from Syracuse to Montreal as to New York City. I hope everyone had a wonderful time at the banquet.

For those not at the conference: I was in the ER the other night in Montreal after a very distressing but ultimately non-threatening problem with vertigo. I wanted to let the many kind souls in our group who expressed concern on my health know that I got back in one piece.

Thank goodness!  Mike Sokal was at the banquet, hooray!  Elizabeth and I head out for IN tomorrow as soon as the conference is over.  Any and all heavenly interventions on our behalf gratefully appreciated :-)
