International Software Freedom Day (Christchurch)

International Software Freedom Day this year is taking place on the 18th of September 2010.

In Christchurch, celebrating for just one day is not enough. The first days celebrations will be taking place this Saturday 11AM - 3PM (18th September - Christchurch Central City Library). The days celebration will be taking place on Sunday 10AM - 4PM (19th September - South Central Christchurch Library).

If you are interested in free software, would like to install Ubuntu onto your computer or are just interested in free giveaways then join us in Christchurch and celebrate International Software Freedom Day along with groups in over 60 countries around the globe.

I know that many of you on this mailing list are involved with open source development, contributions or project management. If you are interested in demonstrating your software to the public or would like to hand out flyers / CD's with your projects then it would be great to see you on Saturday in the Central City Library.
