Accepting Cell Phones, Ink Cartridges, Electronics for Recycling

Two recycling programs at Chautauqua Lake Central School collect high-tech waste, while providing benefits for local students. Both programs collect used computer inkjet cartridges and cell phones (chargers not needed).

The seventh grade project also collects:
  •     Laser cartridges
  •     MP3 players
  •     GPS systems
  •     Digital cameras
  •     Laptops
  •     Some toner cartridges
To donate any of the used items listed above, deliver them to any school office or, for the PTC program, to the receptacles in the Elementary Commons.

Items not accepted at CLCS may be recycled through the "e-scrapping" project at the BOCES Hewes Center in Ashville to benefit the Chautauqua County Humane Society.


Individuals may also purchase high quality, re-manufactured inkjet cartridges to benefit the CLCS recycling program. Here's the link:
