George Gershwin had many ties to Chautauqua. Hear some of the stories from his cousins, Alex Laurant and Nancy Ross, Sunday at 7 p.m. in Smith Wilkes Hall at the Hebrew Congregation of Chautauqua's Shirley Lazarus Sunday Evening Lecture Series. There is no charge and all are welcome. Before the program, stop at the Off the Stick ice cream truck, which will be outside the hall from 5:30 to 7 p.m., to purchase inexpensive ice cream treats!
