Creative on Purpose: A Storytelling Journey Through Photography and Book Creation

Join us for a novel artist talk. Artist Eric Johnson will present a creative approach to visual storytelling, relying on a serendipitous journey using photography, mixed media, and found objects. The final product is a handcrafted accordion fold book. Those joining us for Eric's presentation will have the first opportunity to sign up for a book-making class this Fall. Registration is free, but space is limited. Sign up today to reserve your spot.

Drawn Together Art Walk
Thursday, August 15 • 5-8 pm
The Drawn Together Downtown Art Walk has expanded to every Third Thursday through September. Join us this Thursday, August 15, from 5-8 p.m. for demonstrations by local artists Sandra Maggio, Susan Simmons, and Aleida Foulk. There will be music in Winter Garden Plaza and a host of other businesses staying open late with art events.

We are excited to join thirteen other locations across Chautauqua County for the Art Trail this year. Chautauqua Art Gallery will host artists Leslie Calimeri and Katherine Kepner. Both artists will have original watercolor works on display and are excited to discuss their work with you.

August 6 & 20 • 6-8:30 pm
Figure Drawing is now held the first and third Tuesday of each month and is currently nude sessions only. All skill levels are welcome - easels, drawing benches, drawing supplies, and great people provided. $10 at the door
