Second-Story Flooring Makeover – Local Home Transformation

Hello Grapevine, 

      I wanted to share a recent project I wrapped up for a local homeowner. The entire second story of their home had older softwood hardwood floors (likely Douglas fir) that had really worn over time. They were hoping for something more durable and consistent throughout the upstairs, so we updated the whole level with Mohawk laminate flooring.

The new flooring went into all the bedrooms, hallway, closets, and the landing. It really pulled everything together with:

• A warm, modern look
• Stronger durability for everyday use
• Consistent color from room to room
• A much brighter and refreshed feel overall

I always enjoy seeing how much of a difference these upgrades make, especially when it’s across an entire floor of a home. Sharing in case anyone in the community is considering a similar project or just likes seeing before-and-afters from local work which can also be seen on Facebook.
