Subject: Dog excerise

I have a nine year old Aussie. She is much over weight as we are in need of some where to walk where there are not joggers, bikers etc. This Aussie is a real herding dog by nature and anything that runs she is going after it. Sounds vicious. A truck ran over her leg when she was young as the OWNER was STUPID
so she associates moving things with pain, I believe. Mom, here can not go where there are snakes.
I have thought if someone had a tread mill for cheap or free I might be able to train her to do that daily.
I will reply and appreciate any input-suggestions-information one may have.

Thanks Much
