A new topic, 'Chihuahua teeth...vet recommends?', has been made on a board you are watching.

The text of the topic is shown below:

We just had a little girl Chihuahua join the household who has terrible teeth problems. (She smells rotten and her teeth are almost black.)

Can anything be done? Is there a local vet who has done work like this? Will she likely lose her teeth?

I have seen a toothless poodle and would not wish that on any dog, but not sure she can live like this either.
