Welcome to the future of cycling in Charleswood. We want to identify problems and find their solutions to eliminate barriers and to create a paradise for people who choose cycling as a fun, healthy and sustainable form of transportation.  

This "Google Group" was created to keep an open dialogue, to keep a record of our progress and to share important information relevant to our area.

Meetings

The purpose of meetings is to gain an understanding of the cycling priorities in our area, such as identifying the best routes for infrastructure treatment and to identify/advance opportunities of all kinds. If you have any ideas, thoughts, energy or initiative we want to hear from you! You may be surprised at the amount of people from whom you will receive support, advice and information.
 

The first meeting will be held when:

 
-a suitable meeting place is found (i.e. school, community centre) 

 -there are enough members for a healthy discussion

In the meantime: 

-if you know of people who are interested in local cycling issues, be sure to invite them (click "Invite Members" to the right)

 -join a group in another area with which you are familiar, explore their pages to see what they have planned/accomplished

-feel free to learn more about cycling by viewing our Links and Contacts page (or add contacts for future reference)

-post your ideas / important developments to this group 

 -become a member of Bike to the Future to meet other cyclists and learn about initiatives city-wide
