Hello all. I am a Northeastern University MBA Student, and we are
working on a project to support charities. We are designing a web site
to try to bring many charities, religious institutions, schools, and
other non profit organizations under one roof.
Since most successful sites such as this are community based
(eBay, Craig's List, etc...), I thought this might be a good place to
get some ideas.
We've put together a quick survey, and I really mean it when I say
quick.....about 10 questions or so. The goal of the survey is to find
out how people would really feel about donating online, and whether or
not donors would benefit from it.
This is for donors. We do have one for charity managers and
volunteers as well. If you fit that profile, feel free to contact me
at michae...@hotmail.com. In this context, a charity could be a
single Girl Scout selling cookies, a high school or college team or
club, etc.....
Thanks for your time.

Michael,

Will the results of your survey be made public? The organizations I
volunteer with have put the capability in place to accept donations
online. In fact, for one major fundraising event that is the preferred
approach. However, there are several contributers that do not want to
donate in that way. We respect that and make it easy for them as well.
I would be interested in what your survey says about the % of people
that fall into this category.

Thanks,
Roger Carr
